- The construction of the retaining wall is part of the Northeast Boundary Tunnel Project, which has a 23-foot-diameter reinforced concrete tunnel spanning approximately 5 miles and located between 50 and 160 feet underground. It started south of the RFK Stadium and extended north to Rhode Island Avenue and west to R Street NW. It is designed to substantially increase the capacity of the existing sewer system in the district, reducing flooding and combined sewer overflows to improve the health of the Anacostia River. My duty on this project was to perform soil compaction, concrete testing, and rebar special inspections.
- US 1 FROM COLLEGE AVENUE/REGENTS DRIVE TO MD 193 (UNIVERSITY BOULEVARD) 5 LANE RECONSTRUCTION.
- This is a three-year, $29 million project to improve safety and operations for motorists, bicyclists, and pedestrians along US 1 (Baltimore Avenue) from College Avenue/Regents Drive to MD 193 (University Boulevard) in College Park. This 1.4-mile project also supports revitalization and traffic relief along this highly traveled stretch of US 1.
