Penelope Rose

Penelope Rose (known as “Nelly”) is a multimedia artist and Educator.

Often gravitating to glass processes, her objects and sculptural compositions illuminate and emit elemental power, earthen magic, and ambiguous peculiarity. Rose looks to her surroundings for inspiration. At the same time, gathering, arranging, and assembling a growing library of interchangeable ideas, parts, and scenery. These collections are used to create playful imagined environments, often suggesting narratives that invoke a sense of wonder.
