  • Prepared & taught classes in tenth grade World Civilizations II for Honors, ELL and co-taught Special Education classes, and eleventh grade A.P. U.S. History while creating a classroom atmosphere of rigor, respect and learning.
  • Currently teach Dual Enrollment US History for 11th grade students whom also earn credit through Northern Virginia Community College.
  • Served as the Department Chair for Social Studies: 2011-2014
  • Co-Lead Mentor for the Alexandria City HS new teacher mentorship program 2008-2010, 2025-Current. Scheduled and developed professional development and mentoring opportunities for teachers new to Alexandria City High School.
