Work History

Tour Guide

Virginia Military Institute
06.2024 - 07.2024

I worked as a Cadet Tour Guide at VMI, leading multiple tours around campus for visitors. During each tour, I shared insights into the rich history and traditions of the Institute, offering a deeper understanding of VMI's legacy and its role in shaping future leaders.

  • Guided groups of up to 15 people on scheduled tours.

Counselor

Virginia Military Institute
06.2024 - 07.2024

I worked as a Cadet Counselor in the Virginia Military Institute’s (VMI) Summer Transition Program (STP), where I guided incoming students through their transition to military life. Over the course of two months, I led morning physical training (PT) sessions and coordinated various activities designed to help prepare them for life at VMI. Additionally, I mentored new cadets, offering guidance and support as they adjusted to the rigors of military discipline and academic expectations.

Coaching Assistant

Rocca Al Mare Tennis Centre
03.2021 - 09.2022
  • Whenever I returned home, I worked as a tennis coach for young children. I typically coached groups of 10-15 kids around 10 years old, helping them develop their skills and understanding of the game. I also provided private lessons to younger children, around 5 years old. This experience allowed me to work with people of all ages, developing my ability to tailor coaching methods to different skill levels and age groups.

Leadership

I am always ready to step up as a leader and am committed to continually improving my leadership skills. I have a deep passion for learning new languages and exploring different cultures, as I believe these experiences broaden my perspective and enrich my understanding of the world.

In high school, I served as a cadet cadre during my junior and senior years, which helped me develop a strong foundation in leadership and responsibility.

Currently, at VMI, I am Rat Challenge cadre, as well as part of the yearbook team, and contribute to the 2027 Tech Team.

In addition, I am an Old Corps Corporal, which continues to help me refine my leadership skills and strengthen my commitment to service.
