  • Plan and schedule all testing to keep students on track for graduation. Working closely with special education department and the ESOL department to insure accuracy of all accomodations in Sea-Stars and ELPH
  • Enhanced testing efficiency by streamlining test coordination processes and procedures.
  • Scheduled Testing to maximize participation and minimize loss of instruction. Increased communication to all stakeholders in an effort to improve overall participation. Increased WIDA completion rate from 50% before I started the position to 97% in two years.
  • Increased communication with staff and students about testing.
  • Worked with a testing team to develop a new SOL schedule to allow time for teachers to remediate students prior to testing. Provided a structured transition that included seating charts for students, which was communicated to students prior to testing. Transition time was cut to approximately 15 minutes, even in our larger testing area of 250+ students.
  • Work with ESOL department to develop a structure for identify which students would benefit form multiple day testing based on their ML level. This new identification process saw a 95% pass rate.
  • Provide in pearson as well as self paced video training for staff for testing, collecting and managing all documents for testing.

  • Worked closely with administration to identify students struggling to get to school and or classes.
  • Served as a liaison between students, parents, faculty, and administration to facilitate communication and resolve attendance issues.
  • Promoted a positive campus culture by fostering collaboration among faculty, staff, and students.
  • Worked with other Deans in developing an attendance CT, where we worked with students to improve attendance. We identified these students analyzing attendance data on a daily bases. Students rotated in and out during the school year with the goal of helping 5 to 8 students per quarter.
