I developed a conference on the neurobiological explanations for phoneme complications in students with dyslexia. As part of this initiative, I created invitations and a conference for the Superintendent and various Virginia Beach City Public Schools (VBCPS) employees. Following the success of this conference, I was given the opportunity to collaborate with a professional learning specialist to develop another presentation for the 2023 Leadership Conference, titled Beyond Barriers: Cultivating Resilience and Hope in Students with Dyslexia.
