As a Project manager for Stevens Roofing Corporation, I have continued to build on my experience working with historical properties. I manage crews in the proper application of historically accurate roofing system installation using traditional methods and equipment. This includes slate, tile, wood shake, and copper. I am also the liaison responsible for keeping upper management informed of progress as well as communicating directly with the customer throughout the duration of the project. I conduct daily quality control inspections to ensure safety protocol is being followed and project milestones are being met.

As Operations and Development manager I was extremely fortunate to be responsible for the care and maintenance of over 2,700 acres of privately owned historical property in Delaplane VA. This property included 9 separate buildings. 5 homes including the owner’s primary residence and 4 farm operations buildings. 2 of the 5 residences are listed in the National Register of Historic Places as well as a cemetery located on the property.

My responsibilities were vast and varied. They included inspections and maintenance of all farm equipment, (commercial and private vehicles), as well as all buildings on the property. Positive relationship cultivation, vetting, scheduling, and organization of various contractors and tradesmen, prioritizing maintenance projects and ensuring that best practices, quality, and scope of work performed met or exceeded the owners standards. As Operations and Development manager I was tasked with ensuring that all construction projects were in accordance with ownership’s desired vision for the property. I would regularly meet with members of the historical society as well as the Smithsonian to provide access and on occasion tours of the historical and ecological points of interest located on the farm. In addition to these tasks, I was also responsible for developing and managing the daily schedule of four employees. These tasks included landscaping maintenance, Koi pond care, farm equipment and vehicle maintenance, fencing repairs, product harvest and storage, as well as customer service and visitor relations.

I worked to identify and develop new sources of revenue for the farm. This included creating a select timber harvest schedule, leasing of acreage for feed crops, as well as capitalizing on local environmental conservation programs.

• Communicated all learning and performance objectives, schedules, and training assessments to upper management.
• Conducted regular risk assessments to proactively identify potential issues, allowing for timely resolutions before impacting project timelines.

• Reduced operational costs through comprehensive process improvement initiatives and resource management.

Duties as Production Manager included but not limited to:-Management of multiple residential roofing projects that which required me to: -Organize materials and manpower. -Maintain a record of payroll hours. -Responsible for progress reports and adherence to all OSHA standards and policies.

• Oversaw quality control efforts, maintaining strict adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements while achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Fostered a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging open communication between team members and regularly soliciting feedback on operational procedures.

Duties included managing a crew of 7-10 with the goal of clearing Virginia Department of Transportation maintained roads of Encroaching Vegetation. Skills and tools used to accomplish this were the use of chainsaws and other tree limbing equipment.

Responsible for the care and maintenance of saws, boom lift truck, chipping equipment and company vehicles.

Evaluated cutting routes and developed orders of operations regarding the implementation of traffic safety measures and trimming procedures.

Organized crews to achieve daily goals.

-Steering the ship-Handling of ship\'s cargo by operating cranes and boom lifts

Trained by Tyco telecommunications in deep sea fiber optic communication line splicing

Worked as a Splicer joiner for two years in the North Atlantic and Pacific Oceans
