Healthcare IT Project Manager
Bristow,VA

Summary

I started my career in healthcare technology as a medical equipment repair technician in the United States Army. After leaving the Army I continued to work on medical equipment as a civilian.

Around 2005 I was exposed to imaging informatics and I knew I had to be a part of it. I quickly sought out PACS specific training and started my degree in information technology. After completing my training and degree I was able to secure a position as an imaging informatics administrator for a local health system.

As an imaging informatics administrator, I played a key role in various imaging informatics hardware and clinical applications focused projects. Being a part of these projects made me realize that I needed to take my career to the next level by becoming a project manager in the healthcare IT space.
