I was presented with the Medal of Valor Award for life saving measures taken to save and protect more than 20 citizens of the City of Chesapeake. I entered a numerous living quarters of a Senor Citizens Community in which their complex was actively burning from a lighting strick during overnight hours. Those citizens in which were saved were not aware, their homes were on fire while they slept. These citizens would have perished in the fire if extreme measures had not been taken to preserve life and safety.
