Summary

Originally a pre-medical student at VCU, I earned my EMT certification during my studies and discovered a true passion for EMS and serving the community in the prehospital setting which became my focus and shifted my interests in medicine toward emergency and critical care medicine. While still continuing to work toward my bachelor of science degree at VCU I am also currently working toward an Associate of Applied Science in Paramedicine degree, which I will complete in December, to expand my clinical knowledge and continue delivering compassionate, effective care on the front lines of emergency medicine. I have almost two years of experience in interfacility transfer which ranged from basic life support to critical care transport and some volunteer experience responding to emergency 911 calls.
