I am an approachable leader with an innate strength to bring disparate personalities together to achieve the common goal. I balance my affable, “winning others over” personality with determinism to see projects through to completion. Integrity and loyalty are core values I have demonstrated during my 25+ year tenure with HCA. I am seeking leadership opportunities where I can use my unique skills to shine and enable our company to thrive — both today and into the future.
In this role, I am charged with bringing hospital operated clinics onto longitudinal electronic medical records. These include eClinicalWorks, and Meditech Expanse - Ambulatory.
I have been able to create teamwork amongst the Capital Division team and corporate team. I utilize my team to as a unit to improve standardization of workflows and support. This is evidenced by:
· I led team through eCW Multiversion Launcher Pilot and go live
· I led team through eCW 11.40 pilot and go live
· I led the team through eCW 11e pilot
In addition to the EMR Analyst functions, I led the Consulting Provider Solutions Specialists through special projects. Notably, the rollout of the Electronic Prescribing of Controlled Substances rollout, which was touted by our Corporate contacts as one of the smoothest transitions in the enterprise. I served as a mentor and sounding board for my peers.
Now called "Consulting Provider Solutions Specialist". In this role, I helped to bring the electronic medical record (eClinicalWorks) to life in HCA employed physician offices. I eased practices through the transition from paper to electronic medical documentation. I also provided continuous practice support post-transition, to include provider optimizations with the EMR, upgrade education and support, equipment support, and management of system performance expectations.
I started my HCA career in Panama City, Florida as an Exercise Physiologist at The Wellness Center at HCA Gulf Coast Hospital. I eventually transitioned to the Cardiac Rehab Coordinator at Retreat Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. From there, I moved into Quality and Risk management as the Director at Retreat, then Parham Doctors' Hospitals.
During all of this time, I built my reputation as a dependable employee with a can-do attitude, as well as cultivated my management style.
