I was a member of Best Buddies Club in Highschool
Best Buddies is a club where we provide fun after-school activities for handicapped students. I was a member for three years, participated in these activities, and was a one-on-one peer buddy for a teen with autism. We spent a lot of time together, got to know each other throughout the years, and became very close. I learned a lot about the handicapped community and how to properly understand them and their needs.
