Alternate Designated Federal Officer
- Provides administrative, analytical and technical support to the President’s National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee (NSTAC) by coordinating meetings, developing work plans, submitting visit requests and necessary information for classified meetings, taking meeting minutes, escorting non-badged visitors, reviewing reports for accuracy and other administrative functions as needed.
- Assists in developing work strategies with NSTAC leadership and Executive Office of the President (EOP) stakeholders to create processes for project delivery, including timelines, milestones, and expected outcomes.
- Coordinates with the Committee Management Officer, the General Law Division for DHS, and the EOP to amend the NSTAC’s Charter and Bylaws.
- Coordinates the planning and execution of the Annual Meeting with government, industry and EOP stakeholders while addressing scheduling, security, and agenda challenges.
- Proficient in protocol policy and procedures as these meetings are attended by CEO level industry partners, senior government officials to include cabinet level attendees, as well as POTUS.
- Works with industry partners to coordinate presentations and meeting agendas that are following the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA).
- Collaborates with industry in the development of study topics for NSTAC examination.
- Directs, coordinates, monitors and evaluates work performed by contractor personnel. Recommends and coordinates appropriate contract modifications to ensure deliverables are met.
- Monitors, analyzes, projects, forecasts and reports to leadership on the rate of expenditures for supplies, training, and travel expenses. Works with leadership to establish fiscal year budgetary requirements.
- Tracks, reviews, and responds to incoming taskers in the internal divisional database.
- Composes responses in writing to general correspondence or inquiries addressed to the Director.
- Prepares and reviews presentation decks for leadership.
- Ensures data is maintained in the General Service Administration’s (GSA) FACA Database.
Primary NSTAC Website Maintainer
- Responsible for ensuring the NSTAC website is incompliance with department policies and updated in a timely manner.
- Prepares and verifies all documents and reports are within 508 compliance before publishing.
Primary NSTAC Stakeholder Relationship Management (SRM) Technology Solution Point of Contact
- Responsible for capturing and updating contacts and external stakeholder engagement data and information.
- Enables NSTAC to deliver valuable products and services to our stakeholders while also acting as a conduit between different components within CISA.
Primary NSTAC Records Custodian
- Responsible for the NSTAC Section records to be created, handled, stored, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with Federal Law, Agency and Division records and information management policies and directives.
- Instrumental in leading the NSTAC Section transition from the shared drive to SharePoint platform; asked to advise other teams in Council Management (CM) and Sector Management (SM).
- Spearheaded the development of new divisional naming convention guidance; significantly improving uniformity, clarity, version control, searchability, accuracy, and consistency across platforms and other program sections.
