COMMAND OMBUDSMAN FOR THE USS DEXTROUS (MCM-13), USS WASP (LHD1) AND FT BELVOIR COMMUNITY HOSPITAL, 2006, 2011, 2013, Present, As the ombudsman, I provide confidential, neutral assistance to constituents to protect against unfair treatment and help resolve conflicts. I am an advocated for fairness, serving as a source of information, support and acts as a conduit between conflicting parties. My daily mission includes listening to grievances, investigating and resolving complaints, educating constituents on their rights, providing confidential consultations, offering future options for conflict resolution before they become irreparable.
