  • Our department was allowed to work from home for five years, and my job consisted of working on both 2506N, 113N, and 114N FMRs while training other employees. I also continued working the 825 checkpoint review (Engineering planning final review). Once we returned to the office, my job functions changed. I began working in Primavera (P6), scheduling the CVN68 Scope and Drawing Schedules. I also was tasked with working on the A047 Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs), which is the ship's drawing plan schedule required each month to the government.

  • One of our employees was set to retire soon so I began training on the review on the 114N Scoping checkpoint 825 review (Engineering planning final review). I was also introduced to the FMR process for 113N which was maintained in Microsoft Access. Per each FMR request, we providing O19 Contracts with the next available paragraphs. Once authorized, we created the networks along with the schedules and charging line for the lead department and linked the network to the PSB document and notified the responsible department/supervisor. Shortly thereafter learning this process COVID hit and we began working from home full time.

  • After 5 years in the E82 planning group, the department split up and was broken up into a new department called E88. There, I would continue support E82 by maintaining the Scope and Procedure schedules and their work package links in SAP which includes creating networks and confirmation numbers. After 5 years of E88, this department also ended its run. Our group was merged with department E09 and we were called X44, later to be changed to X34.

  • As the lead planner for CVN72/CVN71 my responsibilities include creating and running Cognos reports, updating Macro's, updating the E82 webpage for CVN71 and maintaining the reports for CVN72. Create Procedure schedules using Microsoft Project and schedule ESC networks to support their earliest work package. Update scopes as needed, reschedule checkpoints in SAP, and set up and run Planning meetings to discuss CVN72 work package development.

  • Began my Artemis Career training on the Narwhal Artemis Network.
  • Moved to the (CRF) B1841-3 to begin training of the CVN69 like Refueling Artemis Network.
  • Started the CVN70 Vinson Artemis Network while maintaining the remaining CVN69 schedules.
  • Started the CVN71 Roosevelt Artemis Network and interfaced with CVN70 and CVN77 Bush activities.
  • My responsibilities include but are not limited to: Running Bar Plots, Issue the Refueling Operation Schedules (ROS), Refueling Team Schedule, Maintain the Refueling Key Event Schedules, along with several (what if) Schedules. Network maintenance including Excel reports, late to start/finish reports. A working knowledge of Microsoft Project and SAP.

  • Started the Apprentice School in the Sheet Metal department in 1989. My responsibilities included but are not limited to: Blue print reading, drafting, material layoff, the fabrication of E-Terminals, Ventilation, Bulkheads, Bunks, Funnels, Lockers, Cabinets, along with stick welding, operating heavy machinery, pattern layoff, sketching. While working in X32 I was assigned a rotation with (M30) shop planning for 4 months where I developed work packages to be worked on the shop floor.
