August 2021 I received The Award of Merit, Virginia State Police highest honor for restoring order on January 6, 2021 at The U.S. Capitol in Washington DC.

May 2010 I Received House Joint Resolution No. 384 by The House of Delegates and The Senate for Codification of the Capitol District. Recognition of critical infrastructure and assets within a geographically defined area. Efficiency in the emergency evacuation of state government. Implementation of an early warning / notification system for state agency personnel in the Capitol District (State Wide Alert Network). "All Hazards Approach" to the seat of state government assessments for improved security measures of critical infrastructure within the Capitol District. Included infrastructures target hardened are The Governor's Mansion, The General Assembly Building, Old City Hall, Virginia Supreme Court, Department of Lottery, The Oliver Hill Building, Virginia Supreme Court, Department of Health, The Madison Building (Library of Congress), The James Monroe Building, and the tunnel system., August 11, 2021 I was recognized and received The Superintendent's "Award of Merit" (highest award earned through Virginia State Police) for entering and regaining control of The United States Capitol in Washington D.C. on January 6, 2021 alongside seventy other Virginia State Troopers.
