Steven Hartson

Responsible for overseeing all of Operations, Planning, and Transportation. This includes supervising a team of Operations Managers, Planning and Support Supervisors responsible for monitoring the safe, efficient, and effective movement of inventory through the facility. I currently analyze and forecast production volume and reevaluate resources throughout the day as workflow conditions change to meet downstream demand. Leads the team to achieve or exceed key performance indicator targets despite these fluctuating demands. Resolves more complex operational issues escalated from the team and am responsible for communicating business objectives and daily workload plans to team and General Manager.

Supervised a high-performing team responsible for handling product safely, efficiently, and effectively as it moves through the facility. Maintained a safe working environment and built a culture of safety among associates. Monitored production volume and assigned or reassigned operations associates to tasks involving receiving and put-away, picking (order-fill), shipping product, or other supporting tasks. Quickly responded to changing workflow conditions and contributed positively to the facility's key performance indicators. Resolved issues, addressed safety concerns, and communicated daily workload plans to the team.

The Performance Instructor (PI) is a DC Operations Team Member position designed to be the primary department trainer. This included new hire training, best methods/job function training, and equipment training. Filled in to run departments when supervisors were out.

Performed various tasks, including receiving, putaway, picking (order fill), and shipping, as assigned by direct supervisor.
