  • During a restructuring in the district, I was asked to run one of our Virginia Beach locations as the General Manager
  • I spent 3 months there working diligently to improve the sales growth and rebuild their store operations and depleted staffing
  • I retrained the existing staff focusing on ensuring they were correctly up to speed on all of the new and existing programs in each of their departments and customer relations
  • As I found we were very understaffed, I immediately began searching for new team members to bring on board taking the time to cross train each of them for every department to best serve our customers
  • Together we worked hard to finish the Back To School season strong with improved sales and tech services, increased rewards penetration, and a cleaner Print Center execution of the production orders
  • When the new permanent General Manager was found, we were in the beginning stages of getting ready for the holidays and focusing on coming up with our strategies to finish 2019 Q4 sales and services strong
  • I left the store in his capable hands feeling confident I was leaving the new and improved store and staff better prepared to work under their new Manager and have heard great results of their performance
