Certified Law Enforcement Officer in Virginia. Deemed a "Subject Matter Expert" in the areas of Autism Awareness for Public Safety and Alzheimer's/Dementia Awareness for Public Safety by the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services. Directly involved in many high stress and high profile situations in law enforcement role including the DC Sniper Shooting in Ashland VA (2002).

Traveled throughout the country training various audiences on Autism and Alzheimer's. Assisted in developing training curriculum with Commonwealth Autism, for the DCJS and proceeded to train officers throughout the state.

Involved in the largest search in Virginia history involving a missing 9 year old male with Autism who eloped from family. The search lasted five and a half days and the child was found alive.
