Provide system engineering support for maintenance and enhancement of a large USMC program with multiple user web-interfacing applications. Responsible for creating and preparing engineering change proposal requests and conducting requirement review meetings to obtain initial requirements, receive customer approval for system enhancements and offer recommendations for new enhancements to improve the system for the customer and its users. Develop/manage acceptance criteria and requirements, provide input on design specifications, and identify issues/potential issues throughout the software development lifecycle. Prepare design review documentation, diagrams, and prototype mock-ups to gather full understanding of requirements from customers and illustrate development progress. Lead design review meetings with customers and other stakeholders. Develop requirements traceability matrix (RTM) for system enhancements to support Government Acceptance Testing (GAT) and release approval. Provide product ownership/management support to ensure that the product aligns with organizational goals, meets customer needs, and delivers measurable value. Work closely/collaborate with stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and customers to define and prioritize product requirements, set development timelines, and deliver solutions that solve key challenges while achieving business objectives. Prepare user stories in Azure DevOps (ADO) for approved work, meet with software engineering team to answer questions and provide clarification. Conduct quality checks and demos of completed user stories with software engineering team to ensure the design aspects and requirements of each user story are met. Delegate tasks to the requirements team, provide guidance and mentorship, and manage the team’s performance

Developed/managed requirements, provided input on design specifications, and identified issues/potential issues throughout the software development lifecycle. Prepared design review documentation to gather full understanding of requirements from customers and illustrate development progress. Reviewed/revised software test plan and developed requirements traceability matrix for system enhancements to support Government Acceptance Testing (GAT) and release approval.

Provided software testing support to a large USMC program with multiple sub-applications, including user web-interfacing applications. Designed test strategies, developed test cases and software test plans to meet requirements for system enhancement/maintenance releases. Executed integration/regression testing and conducted Government Acceptance Testing (GAT) with customers to verify all release specifications had been met. Troubleshot defects and worked closely with development team to track/manage resolutions. Updated regression test cases in HP ALM to ensure all baseline requirements were covered and all obsolete requirements were removed from test suite. Provided testing support and subject matter expertise during complex transition of the DRRS-MC applications/database into the DRRS system to verify all system components were functioning as expected and to ensure users were not impacted during the system cutover.
