  • Experience managing 10 standing councils and 6 committee groups at the same time. This work includes aligning volunteer work to support strategic initiatives and goals laid out by the Board of Directors, convening volunteers and cross-functional staff to aid in their work, and acting as the main point of contact for volunteers in support of their work.
  • Organized and hosted the Women’s Breakfast, various Career Empowerment sessions that are aimed at bringing in new talent to the AV industry, panel discussions featuring council and committee chairs from the various volunteer groups, and receptions to give back to thank the volunteers for their commitment to the association at the annual AV industry conference, InfoComm.
  • Hosted in-person meetings for each volunteer group at InfoComm. These meetings focused on recruiting new members to the volunteer groups and strategizing how to accomplish annual goals.

  • Created and implemented volunteer orientation and training for all new and returning volunteers.
  • Led a cross-functional staff team to better understand the needs of our members. This team researched AVIXA members' needs and developed easily implementable guides for staff to use to ensure their work is best aligned with our members' needs and organizational goals.
