Title : Pega Underwriting for Insurance (PUI)

PUI is a framework built on top of IIF (Insurance Industry Foundation) framework. This framework deals with Policy Underwriting and Administration. The Pega Underwriting framework leverages case management features that automate many of the manual processes and increases visibility of the case status across the new business value chain. The framework

Increases productivity by reducing application, quote, and policy issue processing times.

Title : Pega Claims for Insurance (PCI)

Tools : Pega BPM, Oracle, Tomcat

PCI is a framework built on top of IIF (Insurance Industry Foundation) framework. This framework deals with Insurance Claims. The Pega Claims framework provides a foundation, data model and multitude of features that allow for rapid creation of both the First Notice of Loss and the Claim File/Claim Units. Insurance organizations can leverage PegaClaims to extend the framework as needed to handle all lines of business.

• Lead / Scrum Master the Onsite and Offshore distributed scrum teams for Planning, Interaction and Sprint Reviews for high quality deliverables for PUI Frameworks.

Internal Audit is a web-based application used for assessments of risks in the GRC domain. The modules for which I worked on were Rules & Notification, Data Import methodology, Export methodology mapping and Reporting Warehouse.

• Involved in writing GWT,Java Code to implement business rules used for Assessment of risks
• Generating the war file for the Internal Audit project using build tool Maven

Title : Reconciliation

Technologies : JAVA, SQL-Loader, XML.

Client : UBS

Reconciliation is comparison of two data sets using relational theory, both data sets would have (composite) key that will form basis for comparison, data sets would be present as two files stored at some random FTP location. The UI was based in .NET and the server side was based in Java. Database used was Oracle. It also involved scheduler which was doing the reconciliation from the two files at the end of the day.

• Involved in designing,
• Coding the application using java and performed the database operations using SQL Loader.
• Documentation and maintenance of the Reconciliation tool.
• Writing unit-test cases using JUnit.

Title :DB-Navigator

Technologies : JAVA, Eclipse Framework

DB-Navigator is a schema exploring tool which will provide a means of browsing the schemas of the datasources and for maintaining those schemas. (The data source could be a Progress relational database or any other RDBMS that supports access via JDBC like Oracle, MS-SQL).

• Involved in designing,
• Coding for establishing the connection to browse and maintaining the schemas.
• Documentation of the schema of Open-Edge database & other SQL-Complaint databases.
• Writing unit-test cases using JUnit.
