Wanying Zhu

PhD student with a strong background in statistical methodologies and data analysis. My previous work on the effects of scientific prizes on researchers' academic careers produced a peer-reviewed publication. For my current research interests, including nonparametric statistics, ultra-high-dimensional data analysis, and statistical estimation for streaming data, I developed novel statistical approaches and computationally efficient algorithms. I also contributed to NSF-funded projects, where I worked with professionals from other fields and applied statistical approaches to investigate real-world problems.
