• Facilitated several team initiatives for improving Veteran trust metrics and improving access to care
• Implemented and diagnosed hearing and balance problems and developed Veteran-centered care for highest retiring service member population (Hampton Roads) in the country
• Responsible for and successfully implemented onboarding of new health technician and clinic audiologist at Chesapeake CBOC
• Worked and established a strong inter-professional relationship between primary care and audiology at the CBOC through team building (HRO) initiatives and presentations
• Improved clinic flow and eased scheduling difficulties by developing triage guide for newly staffed MSA in a high turnover VA facility
• Served as service level advocate (SLA) for audiology and consistently ensured Veteran experience cases were resolved
• Responsible for an average caseload of two hundred forty (240) regularly scheduled veterans per month in addition to unscheduled walk-ins
• Consistently generated v-signal praise weekly and helped facilitate highest (SAIL) satisfaction score for audiology in VISN 6
• Personally maintain above national average IOI-HA scores from hearing aid fittings by following audiology best practice guidelines as referenced in ASPS clinical practice recommendations (VHA directive 1170.02)
• Trained new technician in audiology from no experience to competent in all KSAs in the last two years
• Helped onboard and provide clinical guidance to new GS-11 audiologist
