I have mentored ten dental assistants students from Germanna Community College.

Working with Dr. Hugh Teller DDS, who was an instructor at Germanna Community College.  He had asked me if I would be interested in training dental assistants. Of course I said, yes. And for three months they came to the office and they were trained how a dental office functions. From patient care, how to take x-rays without hurting the patient, four hand dentistry, taking impression, pouring models, charting, sterilization of instruments, taking care of the machines etc. Making sure they had the knowledge and the hands on skills to get a job.
