  • Provided engineering support for the ASR-9 Radar System modernization by performing a mission critical upgrade to the Data Communication Equipment (DCE). The System Support Modification (SSM) installation is critical as it is the first step in modernizing the ASR-9 from Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) to Internet Protocol (IP) (TDM-to-IP), as tasked by the Federal Aviation Administration ASR-9 Program Office.
  • As a Site Implementation Lead provided operational leadership and oversight for the FAA modernization effort for the Airport Surveillance Radar System (ASR-9) System at multiple airports in the United States. Was responsible to provide resource management, schedule, direction, administration and quality in the program’s execution including the execution of the survey, installation, cutover teams performing the modernization effort on site.
  • Managed and executed end-to-end implementation of hardware and software changes to the local and remote site equipment within the Airport Surveillance Radar model 9 Data Communication Equipment at six major airports with 100% successful completion.
