Make certain surfaces are prepared for coating according to paint manufacturers’ specifications; paint surfaces using approved methods, striping tanks in a productive and timely manner as well as mixing paint as directed; must work within OSHA requirements relative to the shipbuilding industry; must comply with company, federal, state, and local safety and environmental rules and regulations; accurately operate, clean, and maintain all assigned equipment; properly store equipment; dispose of empty paint and solvent cans appropriately; properly store and take appropriate precautions for paint and solvents as directed by supervisor; knowledgeable in checking wet film mil (WFT) thickness being applied; assist sprayers in pulling lines; must be able to correctly and promptly follow directions. May be required to perform additional duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor for the completion of the job in a safe and timely manner.

• Safely loaded and unloaded trucks using appropriate forklift attachments, reducing the risk of accidents or injury
• Improved warehouse efficiency by skillfully operating forklifts to move, locate, and stack materials.
• Wrapped pallets in plastic wrap and attached merchandise tags to prepare for shipping.

• Safely loaded and unloaded trucks using appropriate forklift attachments, reducing the risk of accidents or injuries.
• Transported goods between warehouse locations according to shipment and storage needs.
• Operated equipment safely and efficiently to prevent damage to items and avoid injuries.
